Directed short film based on brief requiring character named Sam, a mug and line "it's not about force, it's about finesse". Responsible for taking the film through full pipeline; pre-production, production, post-production - starting with visual research into existing films, producing script and storyboards to convey plot clearly and inform a shooting schedule, grouping similar shots and settings. Necessary to acquire filming and location permissions and carry out relevant paperwork. Filming required strong organisational and communication skills, working closely with coursemates to a strict schedule, considering camera availability, daylight, balancing own film with those of collaborators and for sound - campus was hectic and loud for certain intervals of the day. Lastly came editing, e.g. colour grading and timing cuts to music.
